
| Co-Chairs: Jenny Okroj Jenny Okroj is presently employed as a Public Health Nutritionist and Health Educator with the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region. Jenny recently completed her Masters of Science degree, with Work/life Balance in Healthcare as her thesis. Since completing her Masters, Jenny was contracted by a health region to assess what work is currently being done on the issue of work/life balance in health regions across Canada, and to begin the process of addressing the issue there. Roberta Cox Secretary Sue Hay Treasurer Micheal McPherson, FCHRP, CSP Mike is the General Manager, Saskatchewan Housing Authorities, Human Resource Services, which provides generalist human resource support within the Saskatchewan Housing Network. This Network provides affordable housing to low-income seniors, families and others, who could not otherwise access safe, secure shelter, in nearly 300 communities. He is a founding Director of the Regina Work-Life Balance Network and has served as president on local, provincial, and national human resource associations. He currently serves as a Director on the Capital Pension Plan, having more than 60 participating employers with over 6,400 members and is the Vice-President of the Canadian Society for Industrial Security, Inc., a professional association for persons engaged in security across Canada. He co-hosted the 2008 Provincial Work & Family Balance Awards. Past-President Kathleen Spatt, B.Ed, CHRP Kathleen operates Stellar Training & Development. As a Life Strategist, she specializes in work-life balance, stress management, positive attitudes, personal goal planning, and midlife transitions. With an assortment of presentations, workshops and seminars, Kathleen helps people get more out of life and career. Her programs help reduce conflict, improve workplace effectiveness, spark initiative, plant seeds of innovation, and provide strategies that assist employees in rediscovering the joy in their work. Kathleen has served on human resource executives, sits on the Board of Directors for Family Service Regina, is a member of the Community Advisory Network for Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region, and is Youth Goal Planning Facilitator for the Paul Dojack Correctional Centre.
